Liability Facts: On Sunday, June 2, 1996 Mr. Geisler was driving his 1996 pick-up truck traveling eastbound on Towne Lake Parkway entering into the lane which was designated for left turns wherein he stopped his vehicle while waiting to make a left turn onto Wyngate Parkway. The Defendant, Mr. Jaimey S. Swafford who was driving a 1994 Honda westbound on Towne Lake Parkway suddenly lost control of his vehicle skidding into Mr. Geisler's lane of travel causing a head-on collision.

Injury Facts: Although Mr. Geisler did not receive any initial treatment at the collision scene, he went to see his primary physician the following day. Mr.Geisler was treated for neck and back soft tissue injuries and had splits placed on both of his wrists. An MRI revealed a large central L5-S1 disc protrusion with nerve root compression which resulted in a treatment regimen of physical therapy and epidural steroid injections.
